project details
Most creators end up managing five vendors: an editor, a shooter, a social person, someone chasing brand deals, and whoever's supposed to be uploading. Nothing connects. The edit doesn't know what the sponsor promised, the social clips don't match the upload schedule, and the livestream is an afterthought nobody records properly.
On JasonWasTHERE, I run all of it — and the channel has grown on every metric that matters since I did.
Production. I'm on set for the shoot — camera, lighting, audio, multiple angles, B-roll. Everything gets captured knowing exactly how it's going to be cut, because I'm the one cutting it. When we go live, I handle the stream: setup, switching, capture, and pulling usable content back out of it afterward.
Post. Every episode is a multicam edit — four-camera sync, story structure, captions, color and audio. Two episodes a week, on schedule, every week. 1.1K videos deep.
The channel itself. Titles, thumbnails, descriptions, publishing cadence, playlist structure. Content gets planned before it's shot — I sit in on ideation and bring formats that have a reason to exist, not just topics that sound good in a group chat.
Growth. The work compounds. Tighter pacing and better cold opens hold viewers longer, which lifts watch time. Higher watch time gets episodes pushed further by the algorithm, which lifts views. More views on the right topics convert to subscribers. That's not three separate campaigns — it's one pipeline where every decision upstream shows up in the numbers downstream.
Off-camera. Networking and outreach that turns into brand deals. Negotiating and delivering those partnerships — including sponsor cuts that run as paid social on the brand's own accounts, and the backend to get them delivered on spec and on deadline. Monetization across ad revenue and sponsorships.
Every day. Social management across platforms — clipping, scheduling and posting daily, so the channel is never quiet between episodes.
One point of contact. One person who knows what was shot, what was promised, and what's going out tomorrow.
